Three Suicide Bombers Executed

The three convicted bombers Imam Samudra, Amrozi bin Nurhasyim and his brother Mukhlas were executed at 12:15 a.m by firing squad at Nusa Kampangan prison on Sunday. The were executed for the deadly October 2002 bombings of two nightclubs in Kuta,Indonesia killing 202 people and injured more than 300. Authorities blame the attacks on the al Qaeda-linked Jemaah Islamiyah, which aims to create a Muslim “superstate” across much of Southeast Asia.
These men never showed remorse for their actions and requested their execution preference [beheaded], instead they were killed by a firing squad. And it is even more suprising that the family and supporters of these men truly believed that were “Holy Warriors”
In my opinion, suicide bombers are criminals against humanity- invoking Islam for their criminal deeds calling themselves “holy warriors” to pass their misdeeds as an act of Jihad/Holy War. It is clearly stated in the Holy Quran that killing innocent people is wrong. There is absolutely no way anyone can use the Holy Quran or Sunna to justify the murder of innocent people.
Suicide bombers have been brainwashed and believe in extremism. The Nation need to realize that these terrorist are not simply misguided individuals. They are people who know exactly what they are doing and doing it deliberately. Islamic terrorists exist and their ideology is a twisted one, non-representative of the true teachings of Islam unfortunately. This is something everyone should be cautious of.
With the executions, justice has been served but what about the hundreds of victims who were burnt beyond recognition, blown to pieces and losing their loved one?
