Originally from the UK, I have lived in France, Greece and now live with my husband and son in the Cayman Islands. I have always been fascinated by portraiture. When I look into a persons face on canvas I feel a connection to them and time disappears. I love to loose myself when painting a portrait and to try to capture that person in a timeless way. I am passionate about painting people!

How To Commission A Portrait
Choose a picture. *Please note the photograph must be a close up portrait photo with clear view of head and shoulders. The artist reserves the right to refuse a commission based upon an unsuitable portrait photograph and will be happy to advise on this.

Email or mail the image to the artist at juliagoulden@gmail.com along with a completed request form from this site.

An estimate will be emailed to you and upon receipt of the deposit the work on your portrait will begin.

Upon completion you will be emailed a picture of your portrait for approval. On your approval your final payment will be taken and your portrait sent to you by courier.

Oil Painting
10 x 14 US$300 (non refundable deposit of US$150; final payment of US$150)
16 x 20 US$500 (non refundable deposit of US$250; final payment of US$250)
24 x 30 US$1000 (non refundable deposit US$500; final payment of US$500)

Graphite Drawing
9 x 12 US$100 (non-refundable deposit of US$50; final payment of US$50)

These rates are estimates. Each portrait assessed on individual basis. Additional subjects will add to cost of portrait. Each estimate will be emailed for approval prior to commencement of portrait.
