Opposition Leader Robert Corbin Opposes Everything At Home. Wife writes mother-in-law

October 31, 2008

Leader of the opposition Roberto Corbin has a proclivity for shouting ‘NO’ to everything said at home and his wife, in deep disgust, has officially written her mother-in-law to complain, the maid revealed Thursday.

Speaking on condition of anonymity the cleaning maid said that Mrs. Corbin was so fed-up that she has invoked Standing Order Number 14 (suspension of all marital privileges). The maid reported that the problem began when Parliament resumed and she was listening from the top of the stairs when Corbin came home from Parliament one night and after being asked a question by his wife, rebuked her for asking “an oral question without notice.” He reportedly shouted that all questions were to be on the “order paper” and demanded a “personal explanation”.

“I thought that it was quite strange since only the two of them were there and undressed too”, the maid said. She said that the problem worsened the next day when Mrs. Corbin asked whether Robert Jr. should be sent to school because he was feeling a mite down. Corbin, while repeatedly shouting that “the opposition” would condone “no illegality”, declared that the matter would only be discussed if she requested leave to move the adjournment of wee-wee time “on definite matters of urgent public importance”.

At this point, the normally soft-spoken Mrs. Corbin, lost it and reportedly screamed that she didn’t “give a fuck if you lil country scunt think you still deh at the mother-rass PTA meeting”.

Corbin calmly responded that if she wanted to change the law she would have to bring a bill before the “house”. Mrs. Corbin then walked out in protest saying that there was no “democracy” in the home and “God help me if I do not oppose an elected dictatorship”.

Two weeks later, when she returned, she was greeted with the news that the matter of Corbin Jr. had been referred to a “special select committee” and an independent commission of inquiry was established in her absence to look into her actions.

Another source, the cook, who also spoke on condition of anonymity said that Mrs. Corbin tried to rectify the situation but “every-time she told him that she cooked his favourite cook-up or brought him his favourite cologne, he would refuse it and said that he was working on a policy position”.

“Even when she dressed in a thong and edible brassiere and suggestively whispered that she ‘got that lovin feeling’, the boss didn’t give in”, the cook said recalling with a dreamy look in her eyes that when that particular incident occurred, she burned the pot because she was “so turned on, ahhh”.

After the situation continued, Mrs. Corbin moved for the “sitting” to be adjourned and in desperation wrote a letter to Corbin’s mother complaining of her husband’s “bad man ah bad man ways” and asking how an “amendment” could be made to their marriage. The mother-in-law response is expected tomorrow.

In the meantime, however, on Sunday, Mrs. Corbin went to church to ask for forgiveness but reportedly told a friend that “if my angel only try foh do up heself again I gon fuck he up”.
