Obama’s VP choice
August 22, 2008
Senator Obama will unveil his running mate in the upcoming 2008 Presidential election before tomorrow afternoon. His only hints to the public were that the individual is strong minded and will be able to bring contrasting ideas into the White House.
This could mean many things. He could be implying that this individual is strong in areas that Senator Obama is relatively weak in - war and foreign relations. Of the possible mates, these are the picks on the Baiganchoka watchlist:
1. Senator Jim Webb, D., who has military credentials and would help Obama pick up states such as Virginia.
2. Senator Joe Biden, D., who completely washes out any experience issues Obama may have, being backed by such a foreign policy powerhouse.
3. General Wesley Clark, D., brings military experience in the form of a 4-star general. He also brings southern appeal to the ticket.
4. Senator Chuck Hagel, R., would be appealing in that Obama proves his desire to bring the two parties together in picking a Republican running mate. Hagel also brings southern appeal to the table. He was one of three Republicans that voted against the Iraq war. He has executive experience serving under Ronald Reagan in addition to military experience.
There are many other mentionables, but it would defeat the purpose of the Baiganchoka shortlist. Stay tuned for the results and our thoughts!

Biden is a strong pick fo complement Obama with regards to foreign relations. The ticket could have been stronger, but nonetheless proved to be a worthy running mate.
I just listened to Ted Kennedy’s Speech..Well done! If a pin had drop in that convention center, it would have been heard. What a powerful speech. Indeed health care should be a right not a privilage in America and Ted was always at the forefront of that fight. He promises to be back in the Senate in January. We hope he does.
