“Guyana asks US for help in miners’ murder probe”

June 30, 2008

Caribbean360 reports that President Bharrat Jagdeo (Guyana) has looked to the United States for assistance with forensic pathology. It’s about time he sought outside assistance! The Guyana Police Force said ballistics showed that the shells found at the scene matched those found at the Bartica and Lusignan attacks. Link

At the recent press conference in Brooklyn, New York President Jagdeo said, “We have video tapes from undercover operations showing the people walking around with guns, and a lot of people consorting with the people who have the weapons etc. “We have not released those because the angle from which the pictures were taken would betray who took the pictures, but at some point in time I feel we may have to (release the tapes) when hopefully we clean up the gang.”

“So you are going to see quite a number of people being very embarrassed… It’s going to happen and then I will see about all the linkages. Who is going to call for United Nations investigation then?” “You are going to see some very damning things come out about linkages. I know for sure because I see the security forces reports…Now I have seen a lot of political figures are linked too.”

Now, considering ballistics has revealed that there’s linkage between the murder of eight miners and the Bartica and Lusignan killings, when is Jagdeo going to do something with these tapes? He clearly states that he has evidence to incriminate certain leaders of society.
