Guyanese man dies at Shea Baseball Stadium last night after falling two stories to his death

Antonio Narainasami of Cypress Hills, Brooklyn and a native of Guyana fell two stories to his death after tipping over an escalator. He leaves behind a family of two daughters and his wife who is pregnant with their third child. Antonio was pronounced dead at New York Hospital Queens. Our prayers are with the family and friends affected by this personal disaster.

    hope this is not true, but i am reading that this guy was sliding down the escalator. either way a great tragedy for him and his family

    I saw this on the news. Its just sad.

    Bystanders are saying one thing and the family is saying one thing so I dont know what to make of it. I just dont see why people who witnessed the tragic accident would lie about it.

    the whole story seems strange..
    never been to shea stadium but it’s very hard to fall off/out/over an escalator
    …i do know people drink a lot of alcohol at baseball games

    Not very hard if you had a few…I hope the medical examiner rpt gets published? Should not be very difficult to assess the the blood alcohol volume from an analysis of urinary filtrate.
